Friday, 12 October 2007

Vendor: Stuffed Guys, Inc

Description:

Aria-Security Team has discovered a vulnerability in Stuffed Tracker, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "URL of the landing page" field ("GLink" parameter) is not properly sanitised before being returned to an administrator. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in an administrator's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.5.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
